Damian Enrique Diaz, was born in Juarez, Chihuahua Mexico, and at the age of nine (9) his family moved from Juarez to Spur, TX. Damian strong work ethic and family values comes from his upbringing, he is fourteen (14) of sixteen (16) children. Growing up in Texas, working in farms, picking cotton, feeding cattle, hauling hay, and eventually getting a job at Piggly Wiggly, the town’s only grocery store.

After high school Damian enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he spent six years of active duty. While in the Marines Damian was assigned to several different positions from a warehouseman, armory supervisor, and drug counselor. After the Marine Corps, Damian decided to joined the California National Guard for nine years, where he became a tanker. Damian received several awards and recognitions for his service and was honorably discharge. Damian, is a service-disabled veteran that takes pride in his time serving his country.

While in the military Damian attended National University and earned a degree as a Paralegal. As a paralegal Damian worked for a law office in San Diego, CA that specialized in Workers Compensation. Damian’s first exposure to the real estate industry came when he worked for a real estate training company, By Referral Only. While employed at BRO, Damian decided it was time to go out on his own and teach other people about real estate. From the beginning Damian has focused on providing outstanding customer service not only to his client but also to his realtor partners. As the Senior Loan Officer at New Journey Real Estate Group, Damian has helped fund hundreds of loans and in the process helped many people reach their dream of home ownership. Damian is certified in military on the move, mortgage advisor and CALHFA.
